The school is recognized by the Child Centric Project of the Government of Karnataka and has residence facilities for 100 students.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"row m-0 project_wrap_section\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-4 p-0\">\n<div class=\"project_wrap_section_text\">\n<p>Established in 1988, RMSD is a Kannada medium school for classes 1 to 10 (SSLC) under Karnataka State syllabus, with majority of the students from rural backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>The school has dedicated teachers and RMSD facilities include well equipped student friendly classrooms, computer lab, Braille & audio library. The students are given training in music, dance and basic cooking lessons. The children regularly participate and win prizes at inter-school sports, music and quiz competitions.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the school is to groom visually challenged girls to overcome total dependency and live confidently, leading to better opportunities in life.
